Anti-Aging Efficacy Evaluation
Creative Biogene Zebrafish Platform offers a reliable and accurate method to evaluate the anti-aging efficacy of your cosmetics. Our platform is staffed by experienced professionals who are dedicated to ensuring that every product evaluation is performed with the utmost care. With our service, you can speed up your declaration process and gain a competitive edge in the marketplace.
As we grow older, our body undergoes physiological changes, including the skin, which can display visible signs of aging due to prolonged exposure to environmental factors. These signs may include wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, dryness, roughness, and loss of luster. However, recent advancements in the understanding of cell aging mechanisms have opened up new possibilities for dermo-cosmetic strategies that can prevent or slow down these signs of aging. As the demand for anti-aging therapies increases, the need to evaluate the efficacy of new anti-aging ingredients in the cosmetic and dermatological industries is becoming more significant.

Our Zebrafish-based Anti-Aging Efficacy Evaluation
- Telomerase activity
As we age, telomeres naturally shorten, which can lead to genomic instability, cell aging, and even cell death. Telomerase, an enzyme that helps to lengthen telomeres, is critical for maintaining healthy cellular function. At Creative Biogene, we use telomerase activity to evaluate the anti-aging efficacy of cosmetics. We incubate your products with zebrafish, then measure telomerase activity in the resultant supernatant to determine the potential of your cosmetics in anti-aging benefits.
- β-Galactosidase activity
As a reliable marker of cell aging, β-Galactosidase is widely used in various research studies. At Creative Biogene, we utilize H2O2 to create a zebrafish aging model. By incubating the zebrafish with your cosmetics for 6 days, we measure the β-galactosidase staining intensity and analyze it to evaluate the anti-aging efficacy of your cosmetics.
- Gene expression
As we age, our skin undergoes a series of changes including wrinkles, loose skin, and sagging. Collagen synthesis and expression are closely linked to the appearance of skin wrinkles. Similarly, elastin is crucial in maintaining skin elasticity. At Creative Biogene, we provide a comprehensive assessment of the anti-wrinkle and firming efficacy of your cosmetics by measuring the expression of collagen and elastin in zebrafish.
- ROS level
Reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulate over time and are the main contributor to the aging process. At Creative Biogene, we observe the effects of cosmetics on the production of ROS in zebrafish yolk sacs. We divided the zebrafish into three groups - a control group, a model group, and a cosmetic group. After applying cosmetics for 24 h, we perform specific fluorescence staining on zebrafish to observe the production of ROS in zebrafish yolk sac.
