By leveraging our precise and dependable data, you can give your products a distinct edge in a fiercely competitive market and earn the trust of consumers.
The liver, one of the most important organs in the human body, performs numerous vital functions, including metabolic, vascular, immunological, secretory, and excretory activities. Numerous substances have been shown to be toxic to liver cells, with alcohol being the most widely reported cause of liver disease globally. Alcoholic liver disease (ALD) is a significant contributor to liver disease worldwide, spanning a spectrum of hepatic pathological states from simple steatosis to progressive fibrosis, cirrhosis, and even liver cancer. With the increasing demand, there are many anti-alcoholic liver protection dietary supplements available in the market today.
Our Zebrafish-based Scientific Evaluation for Prevention of Alcoholic Fatty Liver
At Creative Biogene, we have successfully established a stable alcoholic fatty liver model in zebrafish through the administration of alcohol. We divide zebrafish into three groups, including a vehicle control group, a model group and a dietary supplement group.
In order to evaluate your dietary supplements' potential for prevention of alcoholic fatty liver, we incubate the zebrafish with your dietary supplements for a period of time. Subsequently, we collect the zebrafish samples for fat-specific staining and H&E staining. These staining methods allow us to visualize and evaluate the accumulation of fat in zebrafish. Details are as follows.
