Specific Principle: The kit uses a competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). In the pre-coated microplate wells with anti-Zebrafish 5-Hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) antibody (solid-phase antibody), the Zebrafish 5-Hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) calibrator and sample are added, followed by HRP-labeled Zebrafish 5-Hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) antigen (enzyme-labeled antigen). After incubation and thorough washing to remove unbound components, the solid-phase antibody-enzyme-labeled antigen immune complex forms on the microplate surface. Substrate A and B are added, which, under the catalysis of HRP, produce a blue product that turns yellow after being treated with termination solution (2M sulfuric acid). The absorbance (OD value) is measured at 450 nm, and the OD value negatively correlates with the concentration of 5-HT in the sample. A calibration curve is fitted, allowing the calculation of the 5-HT concentration in the sample.
